.Hackathon 2023 was held

Like previous years, the fifth Serious Games Hackathon took place as a problem-focused competitive event under the plan of the Martyr Babaei of Iran's National Elites Foundation. By financially supporting and designing the problem for this event, which was held nationally and online, The National Public Libraries Foundation aimed to increase people's visits to libraries.In this three-day event, 35 teams out of 80 applicants entered the Serious Games Hackathon. Participants began their competition on the 20 September and until 6:00 PM on the 22 September, they had to submit their works.

The names and expertise of mentors for the fifth Serious Games Hackathon are as follows: • Mohsen Saeidi: Experienced artist in the field of video games, 3D environment and character design, and animation director• Soshyant Joshaghani: Designer and developer of computer and mobile games• Reza Soleymani: Projects in the field of machine learning, virtual reality and augmented reality• Nader Sediq: Specialized in mathematics, physics, C# language, and Unity Game Engine• Amirhosein Ghorbanzadeh: Eight years of experience in the game industry in the field of programming• Abbas Narimani: Six years of experience in the game industry, M.A thesis in the field of Serious Games• Milad Ghahremani: Game designer, product manager, and mobile game developer• Seyyed Abalfazl Sajjadi: Game designer and level designer in prominent game companies• Aidin A.Shandi: Game designer in valuable companies and game studios
Keep in mind that the announcement of the event winners will take place at the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the Serious Games Prize on 22 December.
